Voyage Login Guide — Connect with MOI Wallet

Voyage is the explorer for the MOI Protocol. This guide explains how to sign in after our login update, and how your account is identified across both the old and new experiences.

What changed?​

Previously, Voyage offered three ways to sign in:

  1. Login with IOMe
  2. Generate MOI ID
  3. Import MOI ID

Those options have been removed. Voyage now provides a single sign-in method:

  • Connect with MOI Wallet — click Login on Voyage, then choose Browser extension or Mobile wallet in the modal.

Your account identifier stays the same​

Both the old and new login flows use moi_id as the unique identifier for your Voyage account. If you sign in with the same wallet (and therefore the same moi_id) that was linked to your account before, you will access the same profile, history, and settings.

For existing Voyage users (migrated from the old login)​

If you used Voyage before with Login with IOMe, Generate MOI ID, or Import MOI ID, your account is still tied to your original moi_id.

To restore your account:

  1. Install MOI Wallet on your device (see Download MOI Wallet).
  2. In MOI Wallet, choose Import an existing wallet and enter the seed phrase you used when you first created or imported your MOI ID in Voyage.
  3. Open Voyage and click Login in the top navigation.
  4. In the login modal, choose Browser extension or Mobile wallet, then approve the connection in MOI Wallet.
  5. Select the account you want to use, then click Sign & Authenticate and approve the request in your wallet.

If the wallet you connect resolves to the same moi_id as your previous Voyage account, you will be signed back into that existing account.

Important: Keep your seed phrase private and never share it with anyone. Voyage will never ask for your seed phrase — only import it inside the official MOI Wallet app or extension.

Previously used Login with IOMe?​

If you signed in to Voyage through IOMe and do not have your seed phrase saved elsewhere, you can retrieve it from your IOMe account before importing it into MOI Wallet. Follow the step-by-step guide:

For new users​

If you are signing in to Voyage for the first time:

  1. Set up MOI Wallet — follow the official getting started guide:
    Download MOI Wallet
    Choose your platform (Android, iOS, or Chrome extension), install the wallet, and either Create a new wallet or Import an existing wallet as described in that documentation.
  2. Open Voyage — go to https://voyage.moi.technology/.
  3. Login — click Login in the top navigation. In the modal that opens, choose Browser extension or Mobile wallet, then approve the connection in MOI Wallet.
  4. Complete your profile (first-time users only) — link a Google or GitHub account when prompted.

After these steps, your new Voyage account will be created and associated with your wallet's moi_id.

How to connect your wallet​

  1. Open Voyage.
  2. Click Login in the top navigation.
  3. In the Connect MOI Wallet modal, choose how you want to connect — Browser extension or Mobile wallet.

Pick the tab below that matches your setup.

Browser extension​

Use this option if you have the MOI Wallet Chrome extension installed on your computer.

  1. Install the extension — download MOI Wallet from the official download page and set up your wallet.
  2. Open Voyage — go to https://voyage.moi.technology/ in Chrome.
  3. Click Login, then select Browser extension in the login modal.
  4. Approve the connection — a popup from the extension appears showing Voyage's name. Review the details and click Approve.
  5. Sign in — confirm your MOI ID, select the account you want to use, click Sign & Authenticate, and approve the request in the extension popup.

If the extension is not detected, Voyage will prompt you to install it. Refresh the page after installation.

First-time vs returning users​

Troubleshooting​

IssueWhat to try
Extension not detectedInstall MOI Wallet from the official download page and refresh Voyage. Make sure the extension is unlocked.
QR code not scanningOpen MOI Wallet, tap the scanner icon in the top bar, and scan the QR code shown in Voyage. Check that your phone camera has permission.
Connection failedClick Login again, choose your connection method, and retry. Make sure MOI Wallet is unlocked. On mobile, remove any old Voyage connection under App Drawer → DApp Connections.
Cannot access my old accountMake sure you imported the same seed phrase you used with the old Voyage login. The restored wallet must produce the same moi_id.
Sign-in request failedConfirm you selected the correct account and approved the request in your wallet. Rejecting the request will cancel login.

Security reminders​

  • Download MOI Wallet only from official sources (Google Play, App Store, or the official Chrome Web Store listing).
  • Never share your seed phrase or private keys with Voyage or any third party.
  • Always verify that you are on the correct Voyage URL (https://voyage.moi.technology/) before connecting your wallet.
  • When MOI Wallet asks you to approve a connection, check that the app name and URL match Voyage before tapping Approve.
  • Lock your wallet when you are not using it.
